What happened
The Extended Look showed a Red Dead Redemption 2–style interaction wheel: hold a trigger near an NPC and pick from prompts to greet, antagonise or otherwise engage them. Character switching was also demonstrated — when Jason and Lucia are together, control swaps between them instantly (drive as one, jump to the passenger seat as the other). When they're apart, the swap takes a few seconds with a GTA 5–style transition. The footage also showed markedly modernised, cover-oriented third-person gunplay with far less reliance on hard lock-on. Source: Push Square, August 28, 2026.
