How to play GTA 6 on PC
There's no PC version yet — but if you own a PS5 or Xbox Series X|S, you can play on your PC today.
To play GTA 6 on a PC right now, stream it from your own PS5 or Xbox Series X|S using Sony's PS Remote Play app or the Xbox app on Windows. A native PC version has not been announced, and no emulator can run GTA 6.

Step by step: Remote Play
- 1.Own GTA 6 on PS5 or Xbox Series X|S
Remote Play streams from your own console, so you need the console and a legal copy of the game.
- 2.Install the official app on your PC
PS5 owners: install Sony's PS Remote Play app for Windows. Xbox owners: use the Xbox app on Windows with remote play enabled on the console.
- 3.Enable remote play on the console
PS5: Settings → System → Remote Play → turn on. Xbox: Settings → Devices & connections → Remote features → enable.
- 4.Connect a controller and sign in
Plug in or pair a DualSense or Xbox controller, sign in with the same account used on the console, and pick your console in the app.
- 5.Use a wired, fast connection
Sony recommends at least 15 Mbps; for smooth play connect the console and PC by Ethernet or use 5 GHz Wi-Fi.
Avoid sites offering "GTA 6 PC download" files — the game has no PC build, so these are scams or malware.
